After meeting for 10 years in a sports centre, this church community needed its own facilities. This new building seats over 400, has a cafe/foyer with commercial kitchen, two large meeting rooms and a creche. It was constructed in 2002 at a cost of just $800,000. It incorporates a recycled steel frame and Australian hardwood cladding. The imagery reflects the surfing interests of many of its members.
